Forest of Dean

One of England’s few remaining ancient woodlands, the Forest covers some thirty thousands acres. Located in the triangle of land between the rivers Severn and Wye it is an excellent area for walking, cycling or just simply relaxing.

Cornwall

West Cornwall, lots to see and do, the area abounds with remote coves, magnificent beaches, tin mines and pretty fishing villages. Cornwall is also awash with wildlife which can be seen throughout 260 miles of coastal footpaths and its river valleys.

France

Maison Calvaire is set in the beautiful Normandy countryside near the village of Le Plessis Lastelle and is ideally located as it is only a 45 minutes drive from the ferry port of Cherbourg or a 1hr.15 minute drive from Caen. The D Day landing beaches are a 25 minute drive from the cottage and beaches on the west coast are 20 minute drive away.
